What you will do:
You will be part of a highly motivated, innovative, and high-performing team where each team member is responsible for partnering with stakeholders and leaders to execute on strategic or non-strategic initiatives. You will bring best practices, a track record of fostering partnerships and an approach to deliver results.
• With your business and data analytics knowledge, you will proactively collaborate with leaders in Long Term Disability department to deliver capabilities that drive business results.
• You will gather business needs and analyze data from various sources (legacy and cloud) to perform impact analysis before diving into a solution
• Using your understanding of data visualization technologies, you will develop and maintain operational PowerBI dashboards and reports that will help improve the business
• Analyze and resolve medium to high complexity problems, processes, or support requests while driving continuous improvement.
• With the Long-Term Disability claim lifecycle knowledge, you will be able to identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences.
• You will be able to prototype solutions for displaying results that can lead to data driven business decisions.

Skills and Background You will need:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Analytics or related field
• Requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience data analysis or any analytical capacity.
• Deep understanding of Insurance industry and knowledge of Long-Term Disability (LTD) claim lifecycle
• Working knowledge of group disability claims lifecycle to support any data needs for Long Term Disability business.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing platforms, reporting automation, data visualization.
• Specialist in developing queries and procedures in SQL and other BI tools.
• Be able to use R, Python, Azure, Databricks and data modelling knowledge to bring value to Long Term Disability department.
• Use Long Term Disability claims knowledge to develop business intelligence dashboards and reports in PowerBI
• Adept in Data visualization tools like DaxStudio, PowerBI. Microsoft PowerBI Data Analyst certification preferred
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet modeling.
• Agile and Lean mindset and effective at working in a scrum environment; SAFe experience preferred.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.
• Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.
Salary Range:
$61,250.00 - $89,750.00
